what should I arrange before tenants move in?
Tenants are usually liable to pay for all utilities except water. Therefore, it is recommended that you contact all companies supplying the services to your property e.g. gas, electricity, telephone etc. two weeks prior to the tenants moving in, informing them of the new billing arrangements.
Lastly, keys should be deposited with the agent a week before the tenancy begins to ensure a smooth transition.
