what should I arrange before moving in?
Tenants are usually liable to pay for all utilities. Therefore, it is recommended that you contact all companies supplying the services you require e.g. gas, electricity, telephone etc. two weeks prior to moving in, informing them of the new billing arrangements.
Tenants requiring personal contents insurance and the services of a removal company should organise this in advance.
Lastly keys should be pre-arranged for collection on the day the tenancy begins. |
